Our Temple is financially sustained by tithes and love offerings. We all know what a tithe is - 10% of our income, given to the glory of God, paid to the source(s) of our spiritual sustenance. What is a love offering? It is what the still small voice in the heart tells us to offer. It is Spirit within, the Christ Consciousness, telling us what to give.

Why? So the Temple will prosper? It will, yet that is not the main reason. Is it because God needs it? No - God is the source of all.

It is for us. For our growth, joy and prosperity. If we stay hunkered down, fearful of giving, we unwittingly refuse our good. God's limitless supply needs to flow freely, so we need to both give and receive freely to live bountifully. Life is a dance of giving and receiving, and we can't really sit it out without withering.

As we give to the glory of God, we find we are blessed. We can't outgive God. As we give with a full heart, we open to God and receive the wonderful good God has been patiently holding for us,
